| The show was held on Newark (Notts) showground on Saturday June 30th 2007. The best time to take photos of milkers is when udders are full. The heavy persistent rain this year made photo opportunities limited - coupled with the fact that I was judging the AN this year. Judging was very largely indoors during the breed shows, but it was good to see the pairs competition (judged by Graham Godfrey) outdoors, and this was my main photo opportunity. Some of the photos shown have been "borrowed" from the Notts Male and female show on Sunday 1st July, but again it was raining during full udder inspection.
I am sure everyone would like to thank Vicky and Robert Hardy and their team for all the hard work that made the show possible. Special thanks also to the team of judges - Peter Cox (AN). Michael Ackroyd (BA and BT), Erica Filby (S and T), Gordon Smith (BS) and Ray Wiffen ( GG).
I shall use small photos, which you then double click to get a larger view (followed by "back" on your browser).
